Five days to slow down, look closely and draw, with Tomek Sadurski, the artist behind Drawing Man Club. Whether you have never really drawn or you sketch every day, the classes adapt to your level, with individual and group feedback.
Meet your teacher
Polish artist Tomek Sadurski studied fine arts in Munich and taught figurative drawing at Berlin’s University of the Arts.
A former professional dancer, he brings a real understanding of the body and its movement to his work: bold, fluid lines that capture a figure in a few strokes. His drawings have been shown at the Centre Pompidou, Haus der Kunst in Munich and SCOPE Miami, and published in Vogue, L’Officiel and Taschen’s Fashion Illustration Now. He has also created live drawing performances, stage projections for the Stuttgart Ballet, and projects with FKA Twigs.
With Drawing Man Club, he shares that experience in a relaxed, friendly setting: whatever your level, he helps you look more closely and find your own line.
What you'll explore
Line and observation, proportions and construction, quick sketching, the human figure and life drawing with a model, ink and watercolour, colour, collage and composition.
Your days at Lua Nua
About 16 hours of drawing over five days, two morning yoga sessions, and a walk along the Fishermen's Trail to draw the ocean at sunset, followed by a picnic on the beach. The rest of the time is yours: the pool, the garden and the wild beaches nearby.
